"When we moved to the suburbs we looked for a good school system. We found that in our community, Hinsdale. But when I ____________found out about Timothy I was sold.

I did not grow up in a Christian home and wanted my children to have all areas of their lives touched by our faith. My husband had grown up in a Christian home and gone to a Christian High School. But his school was small and he was not sure he wanted our kids at a Christian school. Devastated I sought
the counsel of a friend whose children attended Timothy.

She had been in a similar situation. She told me to pray and to ask my husband to look at Timothy and the public schools and then prayerfully make a decision. That is what she had done when her kids were younger, now her kids were in High School at Timothy.

Her husband’s parents were public school educators and he did not see the reason for sending their kids to Christian school. She prayed and asked him to look at both. God led them to Christian school. When they moved to the East, there weren't any Christian school and they watched their children wilt in an excellent academic public school. When her husband took a job in Lake Forest, IL. They looked for Christian schools, enrolled and moved to Hinsdale.

He commuted daily but the kids were back in Christian schools and no more wilting. I took her advice, prayed and asked ____________to look at both. Our oldest daughter is about to start Timothy High School after 9 wonderful years (K-8) at Timothy. We have 2 other daughters currently attending and our
son will start K in the fall. We are so thankful for God's provision of Timothy Christian!"
